Frichs Ltd. is a global supplier of flexible and environmentally friendly energy systems. We develop and produce our own engines and thermal power systems. Moreover we offer a wide range of special engines, gas turbines, standby power apparatuses and accessories from other leading engine producers.
Our history spans over three centuries, and Frichs is Denmarks oldest machine enterpriser. The company was founded in 1854 and produced among other things steam engines, boiler plants and steam locomotives. In the 20th century emphasis was placed on diesel locomotives, ship engines and energy systems.
Today Frichs is a modern, knowledge based technology-company, which in the 21st century will continue to pass on a heritage and traditions spanning from the start of the industrial revolution. We are currently participating in the next industrial revolution: To convert modern society to environmentally friendly production of energy.
