MAN Gas engines
Tradition for power og performance
The engine division at MAN in Nuremberg has a main target of developing, producing ad delivering some of the best diesel- and gas engines in the world. With a comprehensive engine program from 47kW to 420 kW there is a MAN gas engine for every application. MAN gas engines can be run on natural gas, almost all sorts of bio gas and landfill gas.
The MAN engine division became a independent department in January 2002, but the history goes all the way back to Rudolf Diesel, who developed and produced the first service friendly diesel engine in 1893 to 1897, at the MAN facilities. The tradition of service friendliness has stuck to the brand, and it is now a key factor in all MAN engines.
Producers and owners of gas engine based plants have great demands for their equipment.
The gas engines must be efficient, reliable and have low service costs, the cost of running the engine is one of the key factors when choosing a gas engine solution.
